Overview

Customer experience is built at the touch-points where people actually meet a brand. For the Kempinski at Al Mouj we were brought in as art consultants to originate and install bespoke artwork through the hotel — pieces made for these rooms, not bought off a wall.

How we worked

Read the room

We start from the interior design intent and the way guests move through a space, then originate artwork that belongs to it rather than decorating after the fact.

How we worked

Originate

Each composition is designed from scratch — material, scale, and subject chosen for the space, from native Acacia and Birch trees to traditional and graphic smoke.

How we worked

Fabricate & install

We produce and fit every element ourselves, at architectural scale — compositions up to six metres wide, installed and lit on site.

The thread running through the property was to bring the outdoors in and to root each space in Oman. Every piece was conceived, fabricated, and installed by us, scaled to its room and lit to live in it.

What we delivered

  • Amwaj Lounge — four large canvases, three native Acacia trees, and thirty-two Birch trees
  • Cigar Lounge — a 5 × 2.5 m hookah composition and a 6 × 2.5 m traditional-and-graphic smoke piece
  • The Kitchen — a 3.7 × 3.5 m digital art composition, and Jabal Akhdar mountain art for the private dining room
  • Boulevard Tea House — a hand-mudra mural and bas relief, with antique curios
  • Beach Club — a mirror tapestry in natural wood and mirror
  • Indian restaurant — an originated auto-rickshaw welcome table
